What is Million Makers?
Million Makers is a scheme where The Prince’s Trust provides £1,500, and a group takes on the challenge to make it £10,000. We are one of these groups! The money raised is used in the spirit of The Prince’s Trust to help young people who have often had a hard start in life make their worthy business visions a reality.
Why?
We want young people in Suffolk to fulfill their dreams of starting their own companies. Three young local entrepreneurs will be receiving a share of the money raised on the basis of their sound business plans, and enriching the Suffolk business world as a result. You might be interested in looking at some of the previous entrants to this award.
When?
Just Duck It will be launched in October 2009 and will run through to 31 January 2010. Keep an eye on this website for ways to get involved, fun events happening, ideas for money-making schemes and perhaps the odd treasure-trove auction or two!
Where?
You can get involved whether or not you live in Suffolk. This website is the ‘central cafe’ where you can donate, take part, or keep up to date with the latest happenings in our journey whilst doing your bit for the futures of entrepreneurial young people.
Are there other Million Makers projects?
The Prince’s Trust has put forward an amazing £1million for this scheme nationwide. This means there are projects happening everywhere!
